Education and Outreach Summer Dance Camp
Houston Ballet is offering an Education Outreach Summer Dance Camp June 2nd through June 6th of 2008. This dance camp will provide middle school children with a one week experience in ballet and other types of dance and fitness. Our camp is for boys and girls ages 9-14, and no previous dance experience is necessary.
A typical day for an EOSDC participant may consist of ballet technique, modern, jazz, pilates and variations rehearsals. Lunch is provided for all our students. We also offer early-morning drop off at 8:00am and late-afternoon pickup at 5:00pm at a slight additional cost. See below for further details on tuition and scholarship information.
EOSDC culminates with a special presentation at Houston Ballet for family and friends. A reception will follow to mark the end of their experience.
Enrollment and Tuition:
Option #1: Week of June 2-6th 9:00-3:00pm $200.00
Option #2: Week of June 2-6th 8:00-5:00pm $250.00

Deadlines:

March 17, 2008: Notification for Scholarship Awards.
March 31, 2008: Registration opens at 9:00am. Forms can be delivered, mailed, or faxed (713.535.4038) to 1921 West Bell, Houston, TX 77019 ATTN: Kate Lummis.
May 5, 2008: All Registration Forms and Tuition Payments must be completed and received by Houston Ballet.
June 2-6, 2008: Summer Dance Camp Monday - Friday.
