Students will be in classes Monday – Saturday. A typical day for students begins around 9 a.m. and ends around 5 p.m. All schedules are subject to change. At the conclusion of the 6-week program all students in levels 5-8 participate in two public performances. Level 1-5 students that participate in one of the 3-week options will have an observation day on their last day of classes.
Please note student have the option of auditioning for our Year-Round Program during Summer Intensive.
In conjunction to their dancing, students in level 5-8 will have the opportunity to participate in Sunday activities. In past years, students have gone to:
Baseball Game: Houston Astros
Enjoy an afternoon at Minute Maid Park and watch the Houston Astros take on an opposing team. Date and team TBA!
Shopping at the Houston Galleria
Take a drive through River Oaks and see the Transco Fountains on the way to one of the best shopping spots in town, (with over 300 stores to choose from) the Houston Galleria!
SplashTown Waterpark
Enjoy at day of fun in the sun at Six Flag's Splashtown Waterpark. The park offers exciting water rides a huge wave pool. SplashTown will host a fireworks show at dusk to celebrate Independence Day.
NASA Space Center
Spend the day at the NASA Space Center of Houston! Explore the exhibits and attractions, including the Space Center Theater, a tram tour of NASA's Johnson Space Center, and galleries of astronauts and space items. There is even simulator of what it's like to live in space!
Schlitterbahn Waterpark
In case you didn't get enough fun in the sun at Splashtown, take a trip to Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Galveston, Texas. Relax in the lazy river, race down waterslides, and much, much more!
