Ballet Talks  

Ballet Talks

A Houston Ballet representative presents a one-hour storytelling experience that introduces students to the art form of dance. The representative guides students through the story of the ballet while they watch a DVD of a Houston Ballet performance. These hands-on presentations include costumes, props and pointe shoes for students to examine.

Ballet Talks are tailored for between 25 students minimum and 200 students maximum. Ballets currently available are:

Cinderella (Elementary and Middle School)

The Nutcracker (Elementary School, preferably Kinder-3rd grade)

Peter Pan (Elementary and Middle School)

Romeo & Juliet (Middle and High School)

The Taming of the Shrew (Middle and High School)

The Sleeping Beauty (Elementary School)

Swan Lake (Middle and High School)
