Houston Ballet After-School Program (HBASP)

HBASP is a free, year-long, after-school program at your school. Students have the opportunity to take one semester of ballet and one semester of modern dance. Houston Ballet is at your school twice every week to teach two different groups of students. Each semester, HBASP culminates in a presentation for family and friends.

HBASP is available for up to two (2) schools per year.

Schools are selected each spring for the following academic year. Priority is given to elementary and middle schools that do not have an existing dance program, that haven't participated in the program for at least three years, and that have 75% or more of their students qualify as economically disadvantaged.
