LEARNING FROM THE MASTERS:
TEKS DIRECTLY ADDRESSED

For schools with existing dance programs, Learning from the Masters classes address many of the Dance TEKS threads: Perception, Creative Expression/Performance, Historical/Cultural Heritage, and Response/Evaluation.  Houston Ballet staff will work with dance teachers to create class objectives that address specific TEKS.

Schools that do not have dance programs, but wish to create a class series that incorporates TEKS connections in any of the major strands may want to consider booking a Dance to Learn program.
