Since joining the Houston Ballet company in 2006, Ms. Bowen has performed a variety of roles in pieces by world-renowned choreographers. Among her favorites are the Tan Couple in Stanton Welch's Red Earth, the Little Sister in the Spring Movement of Stanton Welch's The Four Seasons, as well as Stanton Welch's Falling. She has also performed in Twyla Tharp's "In The Upper Room". In the 2008-2009 season Ms. Bowen was also featured in many roles. These include the 3rd movement principal in George Balanchine's Symphony in C, Clara in Ben Stevenson's The Nutcracker, the role of Elizabeth in Stanton Welch's world premiere of Marie, the 1st Pas de Deux in Antony Tudor's The Leaves are Fading, William Forsythe's The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, the Gray Couple in Nacho Duato's Jardi Tancat, the 1st and 11th Pas de Deux in Stanton Welch's Nosotros, as well as the Neopolitan Princess in Stanton Welch's Swan Lake. More recently, she has performed in Jiri Kylian's "Falling Angels" and as Pink Couple in "Forgotten Land", 1st Shade Variation in Staton Welch's "La Bayadere", Lise in Ashton's "La Fille Mal Gardee", Gold Couple in Welch's "Tu Tu", Rosie in Welch's "The Core", Lead Rubies Couple in George Balanchine's "Jewels", and in Christopher Bruce's "Hush".
