Favorite Ballet Undecided: I enjoy the beloved classical story ballets such as Onegin and Swan Lake, as well as contemporary pieces like Hush and Red Earth.
Madison Morris trained with The Woodlands Civic Ballet and Houston Ballet's Academy, performed a variety of featured roles as a member of Houston Ballet II from 2008 to 2010, joined Houston Ballet as an apprentice in 2010 and was promoted to Houston Ballet's corps de ballet for the 2011-2012 season. Since joining the company, Ms. Morris has performed in a number of works including: Ben Stevenson's The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker, Stanton Welch's Velocity and The Core: Gershwin the Heart of the Big Apple as well as John Cranko's The Taming of the Shrew. In 2010, Ms. Morris was named a National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts YoungArts Dance Finalist and Level 2 winner.
