One Defining Moment… Stepping on the Lincoln Center stage for my first big pas de deux in the 7th annual New York International Ballet Competition.
Robert Arold was born in Tallinn, Estonia where he began his dance training at Tallinn Ballet School. He received training from Enn Suve, Alexander Basihhin, and Ago Herkul. Mr. Arold began dancing with the Estonia National Opera in 2001. He performed many roles ranging from corps de ballet to principal parts in ballets such as The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, La Sylphide, Giselle, Swan Lake, Cassandra, and Coppélia. During the summer of 2003, Mr. Arold participated in the 7th annual New York International Ballet Competition. In 2004, Mr. Arold received a full scholarship to The Rock School for Dance Education.
