One Defining Moment… When I first stepped out on to the stage to perform the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in George Balanchine's The Nutcracker.
Sadie Elliot, a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama joined The Alabama Ballet in 2003. There she performed the roles of Sugar Plum Fairy in George Balanchine's The Nutcracker and Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty. She has also danced soloist and principal roles in Giselle, Cinderella, Paquita, An American in Paris, Don Quixote, Leslie Browne's Brahm's Trio, and Roger Van Fleteren's Concert Fantasy and Shostakovich Opus 102.
