Houston Ballet seeks a customer-focused and detail-oriented Donor Services professional to help cultivate meaningful relationships with our supporters and enhance the donor experience. This role serves as a key liaison between Houston Ballet and its donors, ensuring contributors feel valued, informed, and connected to our artistic mission. Responsibilities include processing and acknowledging ticket exchanges, charitable contributions, managing donor records, fulfilling donor benefits, coordinating recognition opportunities, and providing exceptional service to patrons and supporters. As a Company Pianist with Houston Ballet, you’ll be an essential part of the creative process—providing live piano accompaniment for professional ballet classes, rehearsals, and staged performances in collaboration with world-class dancers, conductors, choreographers, and musicians.  This role offers the unique opportunity to work in an environment where your playing isn’t just heard—it’s felt in every movement on stage.  

The Summer Chaperones / Dorm Resident Advisors are responsible for ensuring student safety and creating an engaging environment for pre-professional dancers residing at the University of St. Thomas dormitory. Houston Ballet houses 130+ students in this dormitory for the duration of the Summer Intensive Program. Chaperones will move in approximately one week prior to the start of the program and participate in a comprehensive orientation and training with Houston Ballet Academy Staff and partner organizations. Chaperones need to be available for in-person work in Houston from Monday, June 15^{th –} Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Houston Ballet is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team who has strong accounting and analysis skills, who is eager to learn, and willing to accept the challenge of finding new innovative ways to improve our processes. Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and serving as a key member on the development team, the Director of Special Events will oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of a comprehensive calendar of fundraising events, patron cultivation activities, performance-related hospitality, and institutional celebrations. This individual will bring fresh, innovative thinking to enhance Houston Ballet’s event portfolio, ensuring that every experience reflects the artistic excellence, sophistication, and ambition of Houston Ballet.

A cross-functional communications role responsible for executing external marketing and communications for Nutcracker Market, including content creation, media relations, digital channels, and campaign support, as well as marketing support for Houston Ballet publications and materials.

Reporting to the Director, Development, the Donor Services Coordinator is responsible for ensuring excellent communication and event fulfilment for our donors.

We are looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate to help in Houston Ballet retail store. In this role, you will greet customers and provide them with product information or suggestions. Your other tasks involve keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked with inventory. Since this is our busy season, we serve a high number of customers throughout the day. Employees must follow company policy and uphold brand standards at all times. Seasonal hourly salary starts at $15.00.

Academy Class Monitors will help ensure the safety and security of Houston Ballet Academy students at the Center for Dance, located in downtown Houston.

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering general Marketplace information to callers. 

Our part-time customer service positions pay $15 per hour.

The CSRs use basic office equipment and technology such as telephones, email, and web browsers to perform their duties. The CSRs assume ticket order responsibility and processing of payments during performances and throughout the work week.
