The Little Mermaid

This beautifully haunting interpretation of Hans Christian Andersen’s 1837 intricate fairytale love story follows the troubled and mysterious mermaid heroine on a journey between the divergent worlds of land and sea—one utterly complex, the other magnificently serene. 

In the Night 

Experience a captivating blend of classical and contemporary artistry with three expressive ballets. Stanton Welch’s Maninyas delves into the emotional process of revealing oneself in a relationship through fierce pas de deux and pas de trois. Jerome Robbins’s In the Night is a poignant one-act ballet for three couples, set to Chopin's piano nocturnes. It explores romantic relationships, from serene intimacy to agitation and aggression. Lila York’s Celts blends Irish folk dance with ballet, celebrating her heritage. Premiering at Boston Ballet in 1996, this vigorous work honors Irish culture and her parents’ fiftieth wedding anniversary.

Raymonda
Stanton Welch’s opulent adaptation of Raymonda, inspired by the classic Marius Petipa, finds the lovely young Raymonda and her sisters destined to be betrothed to dukes from various countries, yet her heart already belongs to another.  An evil plot by the queen’s trusted advisor may change the destiny of Raymonda and her one true love.
